Interior management

Who is this course for?

Senior personnel in the organisation, on yachts or in private residences. This advanced level of GUEST training is for those who have already gained onboard experience or have come from a hospitality and service land-based background and want to progress within a professional interior department.

The prerequisites are knowledge of GUEST introduction level or hospitality level 2, supported by 12 months onboard experience with 60 days of days with guests.

Learning outcomes

  1. How to effectively manage and review:
    • the interior health, safety and security policies
    • the interior standing operating procedures
    • the interior management systems, rotas and schedules
    • the interior department contacts and records
    • the interior information systems and department records
  2. The requirements of record keeping for interior assets and effects
  3. How to effectively order and manage crew uniforms
